A Portuguese mixed martial arts fighter was confirmed dead in the early hours of Tuesday morning after being in critical condition for about 48 Hours, the fighter by name Joao Carvalho who was reported to have fallen ill just immediately after his defeat in a
fight.
Further cause to the death of the fighter is yet to be ascertained as it is still assumed that he died from injuries sustained during the fight, his death which was confirmed on Facebook by his team members quoted them as saying he died after being in a critical condition for 48 hours.
Meanwhile condolences had begun to pour with the organizers of the event being the first to express their grief to the family of the deceased, its believed from close quarters that carvalho might have suffered brain injury which most likely would have led to his death.
