A swam of bees have attacked worshipers at the Phonex mosque while praying.
The incident which occurred while worshipers were leaving the mosque after Fridays prayers saw over 20 people being attacked by the bees, affected victims were seen using blankets and other extra clothes as the tried to ward off the insects.
It was gathered that officials of the were initially aware of the bee hive and had made arrangements for the a beekeeper to come remove it by Saturday, it took the joint efforts of fire crew and paramedics to keep the bees at bay and move affected people to
safety.
No serious casualties were recorded as only a 24 year old man was said to have been taken to the hospital.
