Wife of former Kenya president Lucy Kibaki has dies at the age of 76.
The former first lady who popularly know for her short temper was reported to have died at the early hours of Tuesday at the Bupa Cromwell hospital in London as announced by president Uhuru Kenyatta, the president did not however reveal if she died of natural
course or of an ailment.
Lucy Kenyatta would fondly be remembered for he many notable contributions to the well being of the Kenyan people one of which was her stern contributions to the well being Kenyans living with the HIV virus.
On the flip side she would also be remembered for her controversially barging into the news room of Kenya,s biggest newspaper back in 2005 in company of her security personnel where she demanded for the arrest of several journalists on the account of what shes perceived as a biased coverage, also not forgetting her encounter in 2007 with the official whom she slapped for introducing her as the then presidents second wife.
Late Mrs Lucy Kibaki was married to former president of Kenya Mwai Kibaki.
