Remi Garde Quits As Aston Villa Coach

Embattled Aston villa coach Remi Garde has on Tuesday  quit Aston villa on mutual consent, the french coach who could only muster just two wins in 20 league games threw in the towel after an agreement was reached regarding his severance package .

The club in a statement released afterwards thanked the former Lyon manager for his time and effort during his five months stay at the club, and wished him well in his future
endeavors,  in the interim Eric Black will take charge of the team up on till a new manager is appointed.

Garde has attributed his reason to leave as the inability of the management to back him during the transfer window in signing big name players , its also on record that he failed to win over the current crop of players with his training methods leaving rooms for questions of commitment.

Villa are currently deep down in relegation waters and look set to compete in the second tier league next season bearing a real real turn around in fortunes.
